Is it a storyline or is it real? The two questions that surrounded the WWE Universe when The Architect, Seth Rollins, reinjured his right knee right after an attack by the former NXT Champion, Samoa Joe.
The feud between Seth Rollins and Triple H started during a Fatal 4-way elimination match on Raw for the WWE Universal Championship. It is regarded as one of the most shocking events in the year 2016 and fans were stunned by it. Nobody saw it coming especially, Seth Rollins. The Game has regarded Seth Rollins as The Man or the new face to lead the new era but the tides have changed. Seth Rollins is still puzzled to this day on why Triple H did what he have to do.
The Game, The Architect, The Authority
Their partnership began during one of the segments on Raw. The battle between Evolution and The Shield was going out of hand and when Batista left Triple H and The Legend Killer Randy Orton(Royal Rumble Winner 2017), it seems that the Shield has won the battle. However, as The King of Kings, Triple H keeps reiterating, there’s always a plan B. Seth Rollins then blasted The Big Dog Roman Reigns and The Lunatic Fringe Dean Ambrose with chair shots. This marks the start of the Authority angle.
The partnership didn’t stop there. Triple H believed so much in Seth Rollins that he even turned onto Randy Orton. At that point, it was clear that if there would be one person who will spearhead WWE, it will be Seth Rollins. There was numerous occasion when The Game and his shenanigans helped Seth Rolls. He was able to capture the WWE Championship belt with the help of The Authority.
WWE Universal Title Up for Grabs
The backstabbing started during a match for the WWE Universal title as stated. Over the past months, Seth Rollins was looking for answers and of course Triple H. Being the cerebral assassin himself, The Game is unpredictable. Seth Rollins thought it was over but not until the January 23rd episode of Raw. Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins were having a quality match and the stipulation is, if Sami Zayn wins, he will take Seth Rollins spot.
The Game Cost The Architect His Royal Rumble Spot
During the middle of the match, The Game’s entrance music played which was enough distraction for Sami Zayn to defeat Seth Rollins costing him his Royal Rumble spot. Seth Rollins was irate and went straight to the ring entrant. The Architect didn’t stop there. Seth Rollins went to hijack and burst his tirade in NXT TakeOver: San Antonio. Triple H showed up but ask for security guards to escort Seth Rollins.
Triple H Calls Out Seth Rollins, Samoa Joe Attacks
Triple H then made an appearance in the latest episode of Raw. He called out Seth Rollins and in a true cerebral assassin fashion, Triple H surprised everybody. Samoa Joe attacked Seth Rollins out of nowhere. It turns out that Samoa Joe is the destroyer Triple H is pertaining to. Rollins tried to fight back but was not prepared for the monstrous Samoa Joe. Joe then applied Coquina clutch which made Rollins unconscious.
Seth Rollins Timetable For The Injury
After the show, it was revealed that Seth Rollins might have reinjured his right knee. He went straight towards Birmingham Alabama and was evaluated by the doctors. Then the bad news broke out when it was confirmed that Rollins suffered a knee injury and will miss at least 8 weeks. Samoa Joe was blamed for the injury but knowing Samoa Joe, he won't apologize for anything. He even mocked Seth Rollins with a post on his twitter account stating “ I believed I have delivered as requested”.
Seth Rollins also posted on his twitter account stating that “wish I could say it is just a dream”. Apparently, there’s an ironed planned already that Triple H will take on Seth Rollins in this year's Wrestlemania. What about Samoa Joe? Well, Samoa Joe vs Seth Rollins is set up for the fast lane pay-per-view and basing on the timetable of Rollins injury, he won’t make it on February 22nd. However, fans should still cheer up as Wrestlemania is 2 months away which means Seth Rollins has still time to recuperate his injury.
