Some guests might be coming to Port Charles soon. In an interview with Hallmark Channel's Home & Family program, "All My Children" stars Eva LaRue and Jill Larson revealed they would love to swing by "General Hospital" reprising their former soap opera roles.
ABC has recently regained all rights to previous soaps "One Life to Live" and "All My Children" after a long legal battle. This means the characters can now visit other ABC soaps. Previously, it was revealed that Hillary B. Smith will reprise her "One Life to Live" character, Nora Buchanan, on "General Hospital." Executive Producer Frank Valentini teased fans with a video of Buchanan in a scene in a courthouse on his social media account.
"Yeah, I'd make a 'house call' over there," LaRue said according to Soap Hub. The actress added that she has never guested on the soap but she has been watching "General Hospital" since she was a kid. LaRue played the character of Dr. Maria Santos in "One Life to Live." Being a doctor, she would be an easy fit on the show.
Meanwhile, Larson played a somewhat crazy character as Tad's mom, Opal Cortlandt. "Or maybe I could pop in as Ursula?" Larson teased. The actress also played the role of Ursula Blackwell in "One Life to Live." Larson added she'd be up for a visit at Port Charles mentioning that she worked together with Valentini on "One Life to Live."
Celebrity Dirty Laundry cited Opal's character could bring some comedy which the soap has been lacking recently. Danger looms in some "General Hospital" characters this week. Spoilers reveal that Liv will step-up her schemes, putting Sam in danger. On the other hand, Sonny will escape from his house arrest to take revenge but his plans will be for naught and he will be in trouble. Anna's memories will get worse and she will need to seek medical help, while problems also await to challenge Franco and Liz.
