The Nokia Lumia 928 seems to be getting a lot of attention recently as many renders have leaked online and reports suggest that we may not have to wait longer for the official launch of the handset. The latest render of the white variant of the handset is now floating around online with the Verizon logo.
@evleaks has posted yet another picture of the upcoming Nokia Lumia 928, but this time in white. Just like the previous leaked render, the latest white render of the handset shows the device from the front, back and the sides.
A recent report indicates that the Windows Phone 8-powered Lumia 928 may debut in the U.S. on April 25, whereas a previous one suggested May 15 as the release date of the handset. With so many rumors and leaked renderings surfacing recently, the launch date of April 25 (with a May release on Verizon) seems very realistic; however, neither Verizon nor Nokia has confirmed the device.
The Nokia Lumia 920 is currently exclusive to AT&T and the Nokia Lumia 928 may just be Verizon's version of the handset with some tweaks, one being an aluminum body. Stephen Elop, CEO of Nokia, said in an interview that the Finnish company has a portfolio of beautiful smartphones in the pipeline.
"You'll see so much more ahead so we're very excited about what you will see in those products, there's certain things that make Nokia products stand out. Beautiful design is one example. Great photography is another, so you're going to see those things exaggerated and taken to higher and higher levels as we go further," said Elop.
We don't know if and when the Nokia Lumia 928 will appear next week but with current Nokia Lumia handsets available in different colors, which color would you prefer the handset in?
