Canadian carriers have already started to take pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S4. Now Eastlink has also joined the bandwagon and has started taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S4 and the carrier will release the handset on May 3.
"Samsung is proud to bring the highly anticipated Samsung GALAXY S4 to Canadians on the Eastlink network," said Paul Brannen, Vice President, Enterprise Business Solutions at Samsung Canada. "The GALAXY S 4 was developed based on consumer insights and needs and this device is a proof point of people inspired innovation. We feel that the GS 4 will truly enhance the way Canadians live, inspiring them to capture unforgettable moments in more ways than ever before."
Eastlink announced that customers who pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be the first to receive their device, starting April 27. The smartphone will also be available in-store on May 3 at Eastlink wireless retail locations in Nova Scotia and PEI.
"Eastlink is committed to offering our customers the latest, most advanced devices," said Eastlink's President of Wireless, Matthew MacLellan. "We're extremely proud to be among the first in Canada to offer the highly-anticipated Galaxy S4 from Samsung."
Eastlink will offer the Galaxy S4 at a price tag of $199 on a three-year contract and for $699 outright. The price of the handset is in-line with other Canadian carriers offering the Galaxy S4.
The competition in the smartphone market is getting very intense with handsets such as Samsung Galaxy S4, Sony Xperia Z, HTC One and more making their appearance and attracting customers. However, at the same time the competition within carriers is also increasing as all carriers will want to entice more customers to their network and the key is to offer popular smartphones.
Head to Eastlink if you are looking to pre-order your Samsung Galaxy S4.
