Ubisoft made a recent announcement that For Honor open beta is now ready for pre-load on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The open beta will be running from Feb. 9 to Feb. 12. The full game will be released two days after the open beta is over.
Console players would have to go into their online platform for the download, according to The BitBag. At present, the PlayStation Store does not have the beta listing yet, so players would have to wait for it. On the other hand, PC players can either go to uPlay or Steam so that they can pre-load the upcoming For Honor open beta.
The Microsoft page says that the For Honor open beta pre-load download size is around 26.67GB, whereas the Steam pre-load is 23GB. Due to the large file size of this beta download, it is recommended to start downloading them earlier so that the open beta could be played as soon as it is released.
On the Xbox One subreddit, Tyeguy91398's thread showed the confirmation about the updated closed beta files. Those players who already have the For Honor closed beta files can still update even without the entire 20 plus GB amount of open beta files for their system.
The Celebrity For Honor Livestream on Twitch invited known actors, YouTube personalities, and video game journalists to the event, in order to battle against each other. Celebrities like Jason Momoa, Alfie Allen, Lauren Cohan, and Demetrious Johnson were some of the confirmed celebrities for the said livestream.
The upcoming game of Ubisoft will make players face Knights, Vikings, and Samura, along with each faction possessing their own unique playable soldiers. The battles range from 1v1 duels to full-on army vs army skirmishes. The game has also grounded battle systems that allow players to change weapon stances for their attack and specific blocks to defend themselves from enemy strikes.
