The Legends will join hands with the Knights of the Round Table to fight the now-evil Rip Hunter in "Legends Of Tomorrow" season 2, episode 12. The episode will also bring back the members of the Justice Society of America (JSA) who were guarding the other pieces of the Spear of Destiny.
The official synopsis of "Legends Of Tomorrow" season 2, episode 12 titled "Camelot/3000" via Spoiler TV reveals the Legends will continue their race against the Legion of Doom in the mission to gather the pieces of the Spear of Destiny. Their hunt will lead them to the JSA members guarding the pieces in different timeframes. JSA is an organization of meta-human heroes operating in 1942. They first appeared in "Legends Of Tomorrow" season 2, episode 2 when the team traveled to Nazi-occupied Paris.
They will first encounter Dr. Mid-Nite (guest star Kwesi Ameyaw) in the future. Dr. Mid-Nite has the ability to see perfectly in the dark which he used in the JSA's brief fight with the Legends previously. He will lead them to the past where there will find Stargirl. Stargirl's main power is energy manipulation. Se can shoot blue energy from her staff and can also levitate.
On the other hand, executive producer Marc Guggenheim explained the title of episode 12. He said they are not doing an adaptation of "Camelot 3000" by Mike Barr, but instead, the episode will take place in two time frames, in 3000 and in Camelot "That slash in the title, 'Camelot/3000,' is very much there for a reason. I'll just say it takes place in two time periods -- the year 3000, and it takes place in Camelot. I was like if we have an episode where we happen to be in Camelot and we happen to be in the year 3000 and we don't call it some variation of 'Camelot 3000,' we're doing something wrong. That's sort of all I'll say," he told IGN.
The synopsis also reveals the Legends will go to King Arthur's Camelot and enlist the help of the Knights of the Round Table to protect a piece of the Spear from evil Rip. The promo for "Legends Of Tomorrow" season 2, episode 12 shows some fight scenes of the heroes complete with medieval armors.
"Legends of Tomorrow" season 2, episode 12 will air on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
