There's no doubt that Ark: Survival Evolved -- despite not being a huge title to begin with -- is among the highly celebrated games of today. Its player pool is steadily growing as the time goes by. One thing has remained true, though -- its full version has yet to arrive. Regardless of that, there's actually an interesting topic which players have been debating within the community. It's no other than the possibility of it becoming a playable game in Nintendo Switch.
As of this writing, Ark: Survival Evolved is available across all platforms. These are no other than PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. In the past few months, Studio Wildcard hasn't really give in to the idea of exploring other avenue for the title. Or perhaps, not until the talk about Nintendo Switch came to light.
According to GameReactor, it's still very unlikely for Ark: Survival Evolved to arrive to the aforementioned console as what the studio may seem to have suggested. However, it doesn't necessarily mean that it won't happen. The video game company reportedly iterated that the decision to do so will still be based on the success of the console. That if they find it a necessity to bring the title to it, then there's no possible reason why not.
But of course, this kind of topic isn't something that most Ark: Survival Evolved fans would fancy to. While it's true that there are those who find the idea interesting, some just don't. For them, it's a bit of a waste of time. That instead of Studio Wildcard focusing their attention and resources to such console, it might be a better direction to develop the full version of the game and release it.
Nonetheless, some Ark: Survival Evolved fans believe that bringing such exceptional title to Nintendo Switch won't do justice. That it would only destroy or contradict the game's aesthetics. Because seriously, it'll somehow affect the way the game looks. Let alone its gameplay and whatnot. But still, at the end of the day, the final say to this is no other than Studio Wildcard.
