Those fond of the "Final Fantasy XV" soundtrack will be able to purchase a special piano collection. On the other hand, fans can get a sneak peak of the upcoming character creation system for the game.
"Final Fantasy XV" Piano Collection Releasing Soon
Aside from the main game, Square Enix also released two animations, "Kingsglaive" and "Brotherhood," as well as another side game revealing the adventures of King Regis. Now, fans will be able to get their hands on a copy of the game's piano collection, as per Windows Report. It will come as a physical album called "Piano Collections Final Fantasy XV: Moonlit Melodies" and will include 10 memorable tracks.
It is worth noting that artist Yoko Shimomura was the one who created the original music. Not only is she a renowned pianist and but she also helped compose some of the game's scores. Since then, fans have come to adore the game's soundtrack for its classic and melancholic tone.
Meanwhile, Natsumi Kameoka and Sachiko Miyano were the ones who arranged the piano covers for the tracks. Similarly, the performing artists on the album are Yui Morishita aka Duke of the Pianeet, Takaya Sano, and Hiroyuki Nakayama. The 10 tracks included are: Veiled in Black - Drunk on Darkness, Somnus - Dreaming of the Dawn, Valse di Fantastica - Waltzing amid Moonbeams, APOCALYPSIS NOCTIS - Shadows Foretold, Sorrow Without Solace - Of Bygone Days, OMNIS LACRIMA - Rulings and Revelations, NOCTIS - Serenade Fantastique for Piano, Stand Your Ground - Illusions of the Morn, LUNA - Blest Be the Moonlight and Starlit Walts - In Celestial Circles.
Square Enix Teases the Character Creation Feature
That aside, PlayStation LifeStyle reports that Square Enix has shared a preview of the upcoming character creation tool. Game director Hajime Tabata shared that this mode will make its way for future online features but can also be used in the single-player mode. However, he claimed that everything is still in progress and that they cannot show off the full features.
Fans can preorder the album online or opt to purchase it at retail stores on Feb. 22. Incidentally, players will have to wait for further news regarding the character creation feature. For now, they can play "Final Fantasy XV" on the PS4 or Xbox One.
