Jamie Dornan who stars as Christian Grey in the "Fifty Shades" franchise has recently broken his silence and responded to the "disgusting" rumors about him and co-star Dakota Johnson. The on-screen couple has been plagued by countless affair rumors since they started filming the first installment of the franchise. The two have however been constant in their claim that they are not having an affair.
The second movie to the "Fifty Shades" franchise is out in time for Valentine's Day, and fans are once again speculating the true relationship of the movie's lead stars. Countless reports have it that Dornan is having troubles with his marriage to actress Amelia Warner as he chose to start an extramarital relationship with Johnson. The Northern Irish actor though has since been assuring that his marriage with his wife is strong and that Johnson is nothing more than a friend to him.
To end all rumors, Dornan then told in an interview that the rumors on him and Johnson are not true. As per talk, Dornan criticized the tabloid comments and online rumors that claim his marriage is on the brink of being broken because of the steamier scenes he makes with Johnson. He revealed further that he have his wife's support, although Warner chose not to see the "Fifty Shades" franchise.
Furthermore, Dornan has already said that he is done with "Fifty Shades" as he only signed three movies, and does not plan to continue as Mr. Grey on more installments. He has however admitted that he developed a good friendship with Johnson as they worked together for years to complete the three installments.
To support his statement, "Fifty Shades" director, Sam Taylor-Johnson, also said that Dornan and Johnson are not in an intimate relationship with each other. "Everyone likes to gossip. And so many stories are utterly untrue," Taylor-Johnson said. "Jamie is married with a small baby. Dakota is in a relationship... It's a movie. It was work," he continued.
Just recently, Dornan was spotted with Warner during the BAFTA Awards in London. According to reports, the two walked through the red carpet seemingly happy, making the rumors on their failing marriage mere speculations.
