That aside, Sony has just released a set of videos showcasing some new mechanical monsters that roam the land, as per WWG. Like the other robots in the game, the protagonist can engage these creatures in combat to possibly unlock some valuable loot. However, players should be careful as these seem to be more powerful than the typical robot.

Next, the Snapmaw is a crocodile-like creature that resides near bodies of water to gather minerals from the sediments. These creatures can lunge and attack Aloy with powerful bites and tail swipes while also having the ability to fire off cryo mortars that have a freeze effect.

Furthermore, the Stormbird is a flying creature that contains a lot of electrical and aerial ranged moves. Up close, it can hunt the player with its deadly claws and sharp break. Finally, the Behemoth is a ground=based creature that can fire off boulders and emit earthquakes by stomping the ground. "Horizon Zero Dawn" will officially launch on Feb. 28 in North America and Mar. 1 in the PAL region.
