The upcoming superhero fighting game, "Injustice 2," added a whole new set of characters with their own unique abilities. Following their announcements, will these three other characters make their way to the game next?

Next Set of "Injustice 2" Playable Characters Confirmed?

EventHubs reports that the mobile version of the upcoming fighting game has recently gotten its first footage. Fittingly enough, the 13-minute clip showcases most of the cast that will appear in the main game. Furthermore, it is also worth noting that there are three extra characters that were included in the roster: Scarecrow, Cyborg and Green Lantern.

While the first "Injustice" had its own separate characters from the main game, it is worth noting that the three said heroes were included in a potential leak. So far, the list regarding the cast members has been correct. Will fans see the three characters be playable in the main version of the game?

Meet the New Women of the Game

On a different note, NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. have released the next batch of confirmed characters, as per IGN. Cheetah, Catwoman and Poison Ivy will be joining the fray with their unique fighting styles and abilities. Their reveal trailer titled "Here Come the Girls" also gives a quick insight into their roles in the upcoming story.

Catwoman a player in the previous game while Cheetah is a completely new addition to the series. Poison Ivy, on the other hand, had been teased along with Bane during the previous character reveal. Although, it is worth noting that the latter mentioned character still has no official gameplay videos.

"Injustice 2" introduces a new cast of characters and also seemingly balances the gender ratio, unlike the previous game. The sequel will include some new mechanics and skills along with character customization. The upcoming title will officially launch on May 16 for the PS4 and Xbox One.
