Samsung recently launched the Galaxy Note 510 (also known as the Galaxy Note 8) in India and now the tablet is officially available on the company's eStore for Rs 30,900.
"Say hello to the new Note 510, your everyday companion in the dos and don'ts of life. With well-connected nimble performance and the natural feel of an S pen, it's perfectly sized to always be there with you, at a moment's note," says Samsung eStore.
The Galaxy Note 510 packs in impressive features in its category. The tablet sports an 8-inch display with 1280 x 800 resolution and a pixel density of 189 pixels per inch (ppi).
A 1.6GHz quad-core processor powers the tablet. The tablet is equipped with a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with Auto Focus and LED Flash. The device also has a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera.
The Galaxy Note 510 has 16/32GB of on-board storage and an option to expand that to a further 64GB. The tablet also includes 2GB of RAM. The device runs on Android 4.1.2 and a 4600 mAh battery powers the device.
The handset measures 8.30 x 5.35 x 0.31 inches and weighs 11.92 ounces. The S-Pen stylus that comes with the Note 510 allows you to clip photos with precision and navigate as well.
The Galaxy Note 510 is now also available on Samsung eStore as well as Indian online retailers at a price tag of Rs 30,900. If you buy from Flipkart you also have the option to pay in three-, six- or nine-month installments. The retailer is also throwing in a free Samsung book case for orders placed before May 5.
With the competition heating up in the smaller tablet space, we will have to wait and see if the Samsung Galaxy Note 510 is able to divert some customers' attention from the iPad mini and the Nexus 7.
