It was recently announced by Ubisoft that there will be a new Rainbow Six Siege patch that will be coming by next week. This patch is meant to fix loads of bugs for the game, especially the issue of players losing Diamond Camo on all of their characters except for the new Operation Velvet Shell operators.
In addition, Ubisoft has made a recent release of the Rainbow Six Siege update 1.25 for PS4. The official Ubisoft forums said that this new patch had a scheduled maintenance on Feb. 16. One of the changes includes Cross Region Matchmaking fix and some network infrastructure improvements.
This patch will be improving the PS4 Rainbow Six Siege's connection. On the contrary, NCSA players would need to download the 2.5GB patch after this maintenance. The Rainbow Six Siege Data Centers FAQ said that the NCSA region covers the areas: US East, US West, US Central, US South Central, Brazil South, and New Patch Next Week.
According to The Bit Bag, the official Twitter account of Rainbow Six Siege made a confirmation that the patch will be indeed released next week. In addition, Ubisoft will be announcing the specific release date of the patch within the following days.
According to Ubisoft on Twitter, this patch will be fixing the Diamond Camo bug. The characters Mira and Jackal were the only characters that were not affected by the bug. As of Feb. 13, the thread of the official Ubisoft forum was filled with reports of bugs that were not yet resolved.
Some of these bugs might have a fix that will come along with the Rainbow Six Siege update 2.1.1 on the following week. The hit detection/registration bug is truly the worst bug that can be seen on the list. This is because it allows players to deal and take hits at an unreasonable range, but the damage will still be done even if there are shots that missed.
