It is not at all a secret that Street Fighter V is now experiencing an unstable status within the entire gaming community. Whether it is because of the poor launch or because of its poor reputation, many have agreed that Capcom might have possibly released the latest entry for its franchise. It poor sales has also clearly reflected it.
Upon looking up the past problems of Street Fighter V, it is indeed a solid fighting game. This is exactly the reason why the gaming community has made a decision to take on the work that Capcom is not willing to do. They decided to fix the game by themselves. One good example is how one modder was able to fix the problem in the game's terrible loading time.
TOOLASSISTED, a Reddit user, released a mod that importantly enhances the long loading times of which Street Fighter V is known for. On the contrary, it seems like the long loading time is indeed a design that is intentionally made by Capcom, according to Attack of the Fan Boy. The question now is why. According to TOOLASSISTED, he had to change a single value called Char Select UI from 60 FPS to 255 FPS in order to fix the game's loading time.
This all then boils down to the complete control of a single value that can be seen in the game's files, thus making the loading times of the Street Fighter V longer. This is something that Capcom could easily change through a small patch or a hotfix, yet they chose not to. Therefore, this may be due to Capcom's incompetence or it is a purely intentional move. This is not the first time though that Capcom dug with the game's PC version. It was just a few months ago that they released an update that introduced files which directly made an assessment on a computer's System32 folder.
