Ubisoft has announced a release date for its upcoming game Watch Dogs, along with a new gameplay trailer.
The release date is currently scheduled for November 19 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC and the Wii U. Watch Dogs will also be available for the next-generation consoles including the PlayStation 4, though it is unclear if the game will be launched across both on the same date. Watch Dogs will be available in Australia and New Zealand on November 21. It will be hitting Europe as of November 22.
The new gameplay trailer for Watch Dogs features protagonist Aiden Pearce running from the law, even running on top of a train to get away. Chaos ensues around him.
"I wasn't always this guy," Pearce says in the trailer. "They crossed a line. And for that, I'll make them play. I'll turn their city against them."
A new, unnamed female character is then introduced.
Ubisoft also announced the collector's edition of Watch Dogs for the UK, though they did not indicate whether this edition would make it to the U.S. There will be four different special editions available for purchase in total, all of which can be viewed at the Ubisoft store.
One is "The Special Edition," which is available only at GAME in the UK. Breakthrough Pack is included in this edition and features an exclusive mission and an added vehicle perk. "Uplay Exclusive Edition" is available only through Ubisoft's online Uplay website. It comes in a Steelbook case and features three missions. "The Vigilante Edition" is available only at GAME in the UK and GameStop in Ireland and includes a replica of Aiden Pearce's mask and baseball cap, the Palace Pack and a soundtrack. "The Dedsec Edition" can be found through a number of UK retailers and comes with all three missions mentioned, a Steelbook case, the soundtrack, a map, an artbook, collectible cards, badges and an Aiden Pearce figurine.
