Famously tech-shy Warren Buffett has opened a Twitter account. Buffett abstained from investing in technology companies in the '90s when firms like Amazon and eBay were first exploding onto the scene — he explained that he simply couldn't understand their business models.
It looks like Buffett has had a change of heart, registering the @WarrenBuffett handle earlier today. The account garnered 1,000 followers within a minute, and by the afternoon, Buffett was already boasting 32,000 users.
What was Buffett's first tweet? The 82-year-old "Oracle of Omaha" issued the following as his first missive:
"Warren is in the house."
He certainly is.
