Paladins Update: OB44 Datamining Reveals Three New Champion Prototypes And More

Following Hi-Rez Studios' revelations on the upcoming Paladins Open Beta 44 update, the patch is now available via the Public Test Server. Players can now try out the newest changes to the game including the new Drogoz Dreadhunter Skin. The discovered several new additions to the game code include new cosmetics, three new champion prototypes and more.

As seen on the recent post on Smite Datamining site, there is actually one new champion identified as an Oracle Prototype. This is because both Lawman and Barrier Tank prototypes have been leaked on previous datamines. However, the Barrier Tank is now identified and will arrive by the name of Inara. It is expected that this new champion will be the most-anticipated female frontline. In addition, Inara is suspected to arrive in OB45 but it is unclear as of the moment.

Inara's abilities have been identified as Earthen Guard, Warder's field, Impasse and Gae Bolg as her ult. The details regarding these abilities will be revealed in the future updates. Meanwhile, the new champion prototype Oracle was known to have a support role with Soul Orb as a primary weapon. The new champion's abilities are Restore Soul, Shadow Travel, Rend Soul and Dark Convergence.

Lastly, the Lawman prototype, which has been leaked in the OB43 datamining, re-appeared again. The Lawman Prototype has the abilities of Vengeance, MarkShot, Combat Slide and TheLaw as the ult. On the other hand, there are new cosmetics found in the game code aside from these three new upcoming champions.

These cosmetics are known as Mecha for Fernando, Space Hunter for Kinessa, Victorian for Mal'Damba, Volcanic for Makoa and Burrito for Sha Lin. Lastly, there is a new mode found in OB44 game codes which are identified as Survival Arena Hands that Bind. There are no exact dates when these new additions will arrive. However, the Paladins OB44 patch is expected to arrive around a week or two.
