Dark Souls 2 Community Event Is Now Live

There will be an event that will be hosted by Dark Souls 2 community for the purpose of bringing back players, and in turn, revive the multiplayer scene. The Return to Drangleic has already begun. This will last within the entire week and will be ending when players will be able to finish their playthroughs or if they may get enough of playing Dark Souls 2. This is a good chance for players who were not able to catch on the initial rush of multiplayer activity during the game's launch, for them to experience Dark Souls 2 on active servers.

Participation in the event is easy, just like creating a new character in Dark Souls 2 and at the same time securing the connection to its online servers. The players would just have to play through the game, and they also have to participate interestingly in as many co-op and PvP.

There are also required steps especially for those that want to make the most out of the event, as reported by The BitBag. The Dark Souls community has already formulated new tricks which will make the players' playthrough to be more interconnected and easier in jumping into the play.

It is recommended to play the Scholar of the First Sin version of Dark Souls 2. If in case the players were not able to have their version of this game, other players who are also running the game's vanilla version will be matched with them. It is quite obvious that coordinating an event that is within the Dark Souls title does not look as easy as it may seem.

According to Game Rant, this is because the game is intended to have a difficulty for the multiplayer to participate at. However, since there is a large number of players that are trying to have a multiplayer simultaneously, it was able to make quick co-op summons, PvP invasions occurring as often as before, and more PvP as a whole.
