'Biggest Loser' Host Bob Harper Recovering From A Heart Attack

Bob Harper is now recovering after suffering a severe heart attack two weeks ago. The "Biggest Loser" host took to Instagram Monday and share an update, with a caption, "I am feeling better now. Just taking it easy."

His photo that he posted received a lot of comments with the hospital with his pup in his lap. "Karl has been a great nurse," he jibed. "I want to thank everyone for the flood of messages and support. It feels good to be cared about."

The Accident

Bob Harper, 51, was exercising at a New York City gym two weeks ago when he abruptly collapsed. The cardiac happening left him comatose for two days. He spent a total of eight days in a hospital for recovery. Doctors advise that he has not been cleared to fly back home to Los Angeles, reports the Associated Press.

While there are thousands of fans with their good wishes post, some commenters are intrigued by how someone that is so healthy could end having a heart attack?

Warmth Sympathy Hug Bob

"So, unthinkable that someone as healthy & fit as you could experience this! I'm glad you're on the recovery!" one person commented. "It's scary when people who take care of themselves as well as you do get hit with a heart attack... wishing you great health and a speedy recovery."

Veteran Health Practitioner

The skilled fitness trainer and TV star have appeared on 17 seasons of the NBC show "The Biggest Loser" show since 2004. He has helped a few contestants lose weight by working out and having a proper eating hobbit. Harper has also written three best-selling books on the same topic.

Harper has more than 20 years of experience helping people get fit and lose weight. And, the big question is how he became ill? Speculation of hereditary or something about stress might trigger the effect of having a heart attack, yet we still now know what it causes Bob triggering effects.
