Over the past days, most of Microsoft's online services including Xbox One Live has went down - leaving tons from the gaming community unable to access the server's online services and data. Soon enough, Microsoft is flooded with user inquiries regarding the inaccessibility issues. Luckily, Microsoft is now taking measures to solve the problems. Here's the latest update:
Xbox One Live Server Issues: Latest Update
Following the reports of Xbox One Live server issues, Microsoft has now announced that the developers are trying their best to fix the servers but hinted that it would take a while until full repairs to be made. On the official Twitter account of Xbox Support, the team posted: "Hey everyone, we're aware of issues currently affecting sign in. Thanks for your patience & visit here for updates."
On Microsoft's support page, the company made a last update yesterday, 7 pm stating that the team has identified a separate issue, which prevented the majority of the players from signing in to Xbox One Live. According to Microsoft, the team is currently working primarily towards fixing this issue. As of the time of this writing, no updates have yet been given.
Xbox One Live Server Issues: Fixed Services
Meanwhile, Microsoft has announced that some services are now available for most players stating that while some may experience lingering issues, [transfer, recover data, etc.] other services should be "good to go." These services are as follow:
Purchase and Content usage - Buying items, redeeming codes and downloading purchases
TV, Music and Video - Live TV; Groove or Movies & TV video store (including browsing, purchasing, streaming and downloading)
Social and Gaming - In-game matchmaking, cloud storage, finding friends, Game DVR, Leaderboards, Avatar editing
Games - All games are now fully functional and operating as intended. This also includes Web research, forums, help, etc.
