The Rainbow Six Siege developers might have some new things in store for Glaz. These changes might make their way to the upcoming mid-season update around late March or early April.
Rainbow Six Siege Developers Tease Potential New Feature
According to PVP Live, the game's official Twitter account had teased some sort of thermal sight scope or target illuminator for the game. Furthermore, this new feature might be limited to Glaz as he was the featured character during the clip. Unlike normal thermal scopes, this one will highlight players in a bright yellow.
This will be useful against campers or for spawn killers as enemies can now easily be spotted. However, the developers have yet to share further details about this upcoming feature. Moreover, there is still no release date for the potential new scope.
However, it is worth noting that the game will be getting an update around the end of March or early April. Some of the new things that mid-season updates bring are bug fixes, gameplay improvement and some big changes to several characters. Fans can remember that the last update brought in the shield feature to Tachanka's deployable LMG.
With this in mind, it might be possible that Glaz might be getting a new scope around the said time period. In spite of this, the fan base has been rather vocal about a Blitz buff instead. For now, fans will have to wait for further information regarding future patches.
Tips To Survive The Harsh Battlefield
That aside, players can focus on improving their skills in the game. Fenix Bazaar (blog) shares some basic tips that fans should keep in mind during missions. To begin with, fans should utilize the sound to their surroundings as it can help players identify if they are being flanked or if an enemy is right around the corner.
Meanwhile, fans should also keep not of their designated roles and use it to their advantage. One good example is that Attackers can use drones before storming into a room to check if there are enemies in the area. Rainbow Six Siege rewards players who have more intel as strategic moves are more efficient than blindly seeking out the enemy.
