Injustice 2 Update: Newest Gameplay Trailer Confirms A New Character Addition

Injustice 2 will be around two months away from its launch. The developing team in NetherRealm is gradually revealing its roster of fighters through a stable series of hero and villain reveals. The newest Injustice 2 character confirmation has arrived and it comes with a new gameplay video that shows off the look of Firestorm and its move set.

Those fans of DC Comics and CW superhero exhibit their possible familiarity with this character, and how their sets of skills will be playing into the latest Injustice fighting system. Firestorm, The Nuclear Man has a wide range of powers that can be seen through an amazing super strength, flight, and molecular manipulation. To sum it all up, he can fly around while throwing fire at opponents. It seems to be a great factor in portraying a breathtaking Injustice fighter.

WWE wrestler Xavier Woods and his crew at the UpUpDownDown sat down together with a few representatives of the team that is behind the development of Injustice 2, according to Game Rant. Here, they ran through the move set of Firestorm against Doctor Fate. Expectedly, Firestorm is truly a strong contender for those players who would like to maintain their distance and attack at a certain range. He offers some close-up moves and is likely the strongest even after breaking away. It can also stream fire at enemies who are located across the map.

As what can be observed from Firestorm's long and complicated history in the comics, multiple incarnations and their appearances in other media, it also seems like there might be a few amazing material that can be obtained as alternate costumes. The "Legends of Tomorrow" and "Flash" fans might be surely happy to see a skin that is based on his numerous appearances within the CW DC universe.

Injustice 2 will be released on May 16, 2017, for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
