Final Fantasy XV Episode Gladiolus DLC Only Takes A Few Hours To Complete

The upcoming Final Fantasy XV Episode Gladiolus DLC can be finished in only a few hours. Meanwhile, the side story has just gotten its official trailer that shows off its various features and mechanics.

Final Fantasy XV Episode Gladiolus DLC Finally Revealed

According to TechnoBuffalo, Square Enix featured the latest installment in the Final Fantasy franchise at PAX East 2017. There, they revealed the finer details about the upcoming downloadable content (DLC) with the character Gladio setting the expectations for the other upcoming episodes releasing soon. The overall plot revolves around him seeking for more power after quickly losing to a certain foe.

Moreover, he believes that the only way he can earn this is by undertaking a trial in some ruins discovered over 30 years ago. Cor will also be joining the protagonist as he makes his way through the various dangers before ultimately facing off against the Blademaster, Gilgamesh. Square Enix has also released a new trailer featuring some of the updated combat systems and a first look at the enemies Gladio will be facing.

Overall Length And Gladio's Battle Style

Similarly, the DLC will cost $4.99 without the season pass, which had many fans believing that the side story will feel rather limited. In line with this, Push Square reports that the game will only take around two to three hours to complete. While this might sound surprising to some, it seems like Gladio will be a fun character to control.

The character's playstyle relies largely on his offensive capabilities and solid defense. The character can deal a lot of damage, which leads to unleashing more powerful moves. This acts as a huge contrast to Noctis' playstyle who uses his warp attacks to look for openings and weaknesses.

The Final Fantasy XV Episode Gladiolus DLC will be launching on March 28, which will give more insight to the missing narrative in the main game. Those who want to play FFXV can get a copy for the PS4 and Xbox One.
