Final Fantasy XV Guide: Here's Everything Players Need To Know About The Fourth Timed Quest

Final Fantasy XV has just gotten its fourth timed event called "Snakes on a Plain." Players will have to prepare themselves for the tough fight ahead if they want to reap all the rewards that come with it.

Preparing For The Final Fantasy XV Timed Quest

Redditor Sansacu shared all the details about the fourth quest, which will no doubt be useful to players who plan on undertaking it. Those who are already high-leveled will have a very little problem dealing with these enemies but more under-leveled players will make good use of these tips. To begin with, fans will have to fight against three Level 53 Midgardsomr and two level 78 Hvitrormr. Keep in mind that the former has 146,900 HP while the latter has 268,200 HP.

In order to deal a good amount of damage, fans should take note that the enemies are especially weak against Daggers, Swords and Ice. On the other hand, players should refrain from using Holy and Fire magic as they have a high resistance towards it. If players manage to slay the monsters, they will be given 20,000 EXP, 500 AP, five Oracle Ascension Coins and 777,777 Gil.

Where To Find The Snakes And Slay Them

To activate the quest, players must go online and select the Timed Quests in the menu, as per YouTuber edepot. From there, they must check bounty and location and then fast travel to The Maidenwater parking spot. Fans must then head east until they come across large snakes on the plains, hence the quest's title.

Given their weakness, straight swords or daggers, especially Ragnarok, will be able to tear through their HP. Players should also try using poison immunity items on their AI companions as they will not dodge the AoE Poison spit. Finally, Ignis can sneak in some 9,999 damage with Libra Elementie if he has enough magic stats while Gladio's Impulse can deal plenty of damage in a wide range. Fans can play Final Fantasy XV on the PS4 and Xbox One.
