The statistics for the most used Overwatch heroes for Season 4 have just been revealed. While players from different rankings may shuffle between different characters, it is always the healer who takes the top spot.

Meanwhile, Diamond tier includes Genji, Zenyatta, Zarya, Pharah, Soldier 76, Roadhog, Lucio, Mercy, Reinhardt and Ana who takes the top spot. Next, Master players prefer D.Va, Genji, Pharah, Soldier 76, Zarya, Roadhog, Lucio, Mercy, Reinhardt and Ana again. Finally, the Grandmaster rank has Tracer, Genji, Pharah, Soldier 76, Mercy, Lucio, Zarya, Roadhog, Reinhardt and Ana again.
The Healers Are Taking Charge
With this in mind, it is quite evident that Mercy is the top picked hero ranging from Bronze all the way to Platinum. On the other hand, Ana dethrones her from the Diamond rank up to Grandmaster. Ana is an extremely popular pick in high tiers as she actually represents 32 percent of all Grandmaster mains, as per PVP Live. Because of this, one could argue that one in 10 Grandmasters is actually an Ana main.
Healers are always a must pick during competitive matches with Mercy and Ana constantly clashing for the best solo healer role.
