Sugar Ray Says Mayweather Will Beat McGregor In 1 Round KO

It's still pretty early to make clear predictions, but Boxing Legend Sugar Ray Leonard is already jumping to conclusions, tipping Boxing great Floyd Mayweather to knock out UFC's golden boy, Conor McGregor in just the first round of what would be boxing's richest ever fight. He confidently thinks it to be the case since Mayweather, Jr. is still unbeaten and is no doubt a "beast" in the ring.

Leonard Is Sure That Fight Will Happen

According to The Sun UK, The all-time great is pretty much sure that the 40-year-old Mayweather, who is unbeaten and currently holds five-weight world championship belts, WILL return to the ring for the much anticipated multi-million-pound one-off against Conor McGregor, the brash Irish UFC Hero.

Leonard is also expecting that the fight would last a little longer than the time it took him to predict the outcome of the much awaited super fight. When asked about just how McGregor would fare against Mayweather, 60-year-old Leonard immediately replied: "Boxing? One round. Tops"

About The Super Fight

Both McGregor and Mayweather have been calling each other out for quite some time now. But after months of talks over the cross-sport bout, there has yet to be an exact date confirmed.

According to Metro, Mayweather has even urged the 28-year-old MMA star, McGregor, to help set up the showdown as quickly as possible, or just witness his chance of a life-changing payday disappear forever.

Why Mayweather Is A Heavy Favorite

As what has been a very impressive career, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. has never lost a single fight, along with topping the world at five different weight divisions. The UFC star McGregor is still a complete rookie when it comes to boxing, but he still made it clear that he truly wants to fight Mayweather at all costs.

Mayweather was an expert at avoiding any severe punishment when fighting and would be a heavy favorite against McGregor. McGregor, on the other hand, would get all the worldwide publicity that he wants and would potentially get, by far, the biggest pay-day of his life should he fight Mayweather.
