E3 2017 is going to be big, and possibly the biggest gaming event this year. Not just because of Nintendo Switch's reveal of more games coming for the console or more on PS4 exclusives like The Last of Us 2 and God of War. This year, Microsoft is finally going to reveal the most anticipated hardware of 2017, the Project Scorpio and it handpicked a list of games to demonstrate specifically its 4K feature.
Project Scorpio To Demonstrate 4K With Red Dead Redemption 2 And More
Microsoft is planning to introduce Project Scorpio with a bang and it is not playing around when its plan of demonstrating the hardware with a strong line-up of games. Microsoft plans to showcase Project Scorpio's True-4K capabilities and six-teraflops of power with first-party titles led by Forza 7. Also joining Forza 7 is Crackdown 3 and State of Decay 2.
Microsoft plans to hit hard with its third-party titles as well such as Call of Duty, Fifa, Madden, Star Wars Battlefront 2 and the highly anticipated Red Dead Redemption, all of which will appear on 4K resolution when Project Scorpio comes to E3. No one expected Red Dead Redemption 2 to appear in Project Scorpio's third-party line-up, but it is doing wonders for players' confidence to the console.
What Else To Expect From Project Scorpio
It seems Project Scorpio has also snatched a major title to include in its roster, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, the sequel to Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, is coming to the console late this year. Project Scorpio will also have a vast array of games in its library due to its "change resilience" feature, which means Xbox One games will be playable in Scorpio at 4K without the need for patches or updates. Microsoft clearly will not be pulling any punches and it will be hitting hard come E3 2017 in June.
