The growing favorite DC show, “Legends of Tomorrow” has just aired its last episode for its current season. The creators of the show have revealed that the finale of “Legends of Tomorrow” Season 2 will be a game changer and that a different team will be introduced in the next season.
'Legends of Tomorrow' Season 2 Finale
The newest DC show has been making waves for its story and its characters that have been rounded up from various other DC shows from The CW such as “The Flash” and “Arrow”. “Legends of Tomorrow” Season 2 finale just recently aired with the superhero team finally saving reality. The show has built up a story that had a satisfying and exciting season ender, leaving fans wanting for more.
The season finale, which was titled “Aruba” finds the Legends team in a predicament after a massive time quake. In order to save reality, they had to break one rule of time traveling and that was to interact with their past selves back in 1916. Clearly, they have broken time and there will be ripples of consequences.
“Legends of Tomorrow” Season 3 Spoilers
With the cliffhanger finale of “Legends of Tomorrow” Season 2, fans are left with questions of what the future holds for the characters. Executive producer Phil Klemmer confirmed that the finale of the show’s second season will change everything. He explained that the finale was proof of how the show has always been designed to reinvent itself at the end of each season because “Legends of Tomorrow” has always been keen on being unpredictable and amusing.
Marc Guggenheim, one of the developers of the show, further revealed that “Legends of Tomorrow” Season 3 will feature a new make-up of characters that will introduce a different team especially after how the events unfolded in the finale of “Legends of Tomorrow” Season 2. Katie Cassidy, who just returned as Black Siren in “Arrow”, has also returned in the said finale to reprise her role as Laurel and Guggenheim admitted that they have talked about Black Siren joining the Legends team. However, it seems like that won’t be happening because of the ongoing arc in “Arrow”.
