Yooka-Laylee Will Have A Day One Patch, Details Here

Just before the release of Yooka-Laylee, Playtonic Games announced that there will be a day one patch to accompany the game. The patch is said to resolve the issues with the camera and performance along with some bug fixes.

Day One Patch Is For Camera Issues In Yooka-Laylee

Players are excited to finally have Yooka-Laylee. However, there are reported issues regarding the camera. According to GameSpot, the camera tends to not cooperate when playing, thereby disrupting the player's gaming experience. Luckily, Playtonic Games included a fix to this issue with the day one patch.

The said fix is set to make the camera focus on one place whenever the players are finishing Gravity Room challenge in Galleon. It is also said to fix the problems with the camera when they are at Shipwreck Creek and Hivory Towers. The camera will be deactivated once they return to Brreeeze Block's room.

Lastly, camera transitions in the introductory scene are addressed. Playtonic Games will stop at nothing in order to make sure that the camera angles and the camera itself in Yooka-Laylee is working properly.

Bug Fixes And Performance Improvements In Yooka-Laylee

As per Metro, players will no longer see Planker's weird behavior when they are trying to get the seeds in Moodymaze Marsh. In addition, Playtonic Games has prevented the reset when there is sudden fainting of players during the course of Nimble race.

Moreover, Softlocks are fixed whenever players faint when their timer reaches to zero on Hub C slide. Whenever they are killed by a bizzy in Hub B and respawn, they can move unlike before. Improvements will also be seen with the light beam in Icymetric Palace.

When in Capital Cashino, the House of Cards ball will now also roll flawlessly. Lastly, the Bae-Bop arcade game will be improvedas requested. Hopefully, the improvements and fixes will make the Banjo-Kazooie successor more enjoyable.
