The developers have decided to finally make the next Technical Test open for all Rainbow Six Siege players to enjoy. On the other hand, they also talk about the possibility of including an Australian operator in the game
Rainbow Six Siege Technical Test Patch
Many players have been requesting access to the test server ever since Ubisoft's initial announcement and it seems like they have been listening to their fanbase. The community developer, better known as Its_Epi on Reddit, recently posted a topic on the website telling fans that they are expanding the test server invitations.
In the comment section, he noted that the next test server will finally be available globally and for the public, similar to that of Overwatch's PTR (Public Test Realm). In spite of this, the developer has yet to share when they will release the next test server as it seems like they are still focusing on any Season Two content.
The main purpose for these type of servers is to provide a controlled test environment where the developers can remove various bugs while fine-tuning any changes before launching them over to the main game. This will further enhance the gameplay experience while assuring fewer bugs on the live server.
A Possibility For Australian Operators
That aside, creative director Xavier Marquis discussed the possibility of a future Australian operator and how he dreams of having a map from that locality, as per finder.com.au. However, he still cannot make any confirmations regarding this despite his noticeable enthusiasm about it. Nevertheless, he does hope to see potential Australian operators by Year Three (2018) or so. For now, fans will just have to wait for further information about future playable characters.
The Rainbow Six Siege Technical Test will be bringing some impressive content that hints at two new operators from Hong Kong. For those who want to take part in the fight, they can get the same for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
