Meredith Gets Into Another Horrible Flight
The latest episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 13, titled “In The Air Tonight” features Meredith reuniting with Riggs in a plane. The reunion gets the two to bond over their respective flight experiences, which the show has revealed before. However, as revealed in the preview of the said episode, things go downhill as the plane goes through a terrible turbulence that takes back fans to a familiar setting in the show.
Meredith shared that she was traumatized when she experienced a plane crash. While Riggs’s flight experience wasn’t as dramatic as Meredith’s, it was still enough to give him uneasy flights and even revealed more of his childhood. The plane continues to go through horrible turbulence but it eventually barely landed safely. Riggs and Meredith have reportedly flown out of their comfort zone for a medical emergency that they will probably work on together.
Finale Looks Dim? Creator Shares More Details
With Meredith finally setting foot once again in an airplane and even going through another scary flight that reminds people of a certain episode that has gotten some beloved characters to pass away, fans are worried at how this season will end. It was already revealed earlier that “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 13 finale will be dark and dramatic. However, it will not be catastrophic but it will indeed lead to an intense climax.
Creator of the said ABC series, Shonda Rhimes just recently added that the season finale will be an exciting episode that will be on fire. She explained that it was simply going to be fiery and that she and executive producer Debbie Allen are going to stick with that description. Meredith is in a plane and the finale is going to be fiery, whether or not Rhimes was saying that as a metaphor, fans are hoping that it won’t be something heartbreaking.
