We recently told you about leaked images of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active and now video footage of the device has reportedly leaked.
The video comes from Russian website Mobile Tech Review. The site is known for Galaxy S4 news and hands on before releases.
The phone will reportedly be a more durable version of the Galaxy S4. This includes boosted resistance to water, dust, scratches, etc. In terms of design, the device is said to feature a "metallic shell with bolts on the back." It will also reportedly have three hardware buttons on the front side instead of just one home button.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Active has a model number GT-I9295, which separates it from the Galaxy S4's model number (GT-I9500/GT-I9505). The pictures indicate a 1.9GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor with Adreno 320GPU. But according to the video, the device will not feature the Snapdragon 600 but rather a dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus CPU. This is a significant step down from the Snapdragon 600 processor found on the U.S. Galaxy S4.
Additional features include a 1920 x 1080 display (480 dpi) and an eight-megapixel camera. This is also a step down from the Galaxy S4's 13-megapixel rear-facing camera. According to reports, however, the camera will include the software features found on the Galaxy S4.
No official word has been given on a release date and locations for Galaxy S4 Active. Some rumors claim it may arrive on AT&T in the U.S. Other rumors indicate a release date in the middle of July, though this is probably an international release.
