Following Team Liquid's pursuit of stellar talents, it seems that the organization finally found its ideal candidate in one of the prominent members of Misfits, the 17-year-old Canadian player, Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken. Following his departure, it also appears that Misfits had found solace from a rising French superstar.
CS:GO Update: Twistzz Signed By Team Liquid
The rumors turned out to be true as Twistzz officially signed for Team Liquid following his surprising departure from Misfits. The Canadian player will debut his first LAN tournament on the new organization next week at the Counter-Strike Summit.
Twistzz became one of the hottest candidates for Liquid's new roster following his consistent stunning performances in the previous months, most noticeably, the recently concluded DreamHack Austin 2017. Following Jacob "Pimp" Winneche's departure from the organization, a lot of fans are somewhat aligned with the organization's decision of acquiring Twistzz. However, it should be worth noting that there is only a limited amount of time before the team will engage in another major tournament - to which some critics argue to be quite unwise coming from Liquid's side.
Misfits Takes Rising French Superstar In Place of Twistzz
As reported by WWG, Misfits will be taking two French duo in replace of Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken and Skyler "Relyks" Weaver. According to the report, David "devoduvek" Dobrosavljevic and Francois "AmaNEk" Delaunay will replace the two empty slots of the organization. The former was supposed to be signed for Team EnVyUs but after a series of failed talks, the latter, instead, signed Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom. Meanwhile, AmaNEk was a past teammate of devoduvek in a couple of organizations namely: Red Instinct, Platinum Esport and Vexed Gaming.
