Recently, it was announced that Season Elite players are now available in NBA 2K17's MyTeam game mode. 2K described these players as game changers and made a huge impact this season even if their teams failed to qualify for a playoff spot. It is also said that they have major potential heading to next season, which is basically, the most exciting players to watch.
According to Attack of the Fanboy, the players included in the new Season Elite Diamond cards are Andrew Wiggins, Kristaps Porzingis, Nikola Jokic, Joel Embiid, Kemba Walker, Andre Drummond, Demarcus Cousins, Brook Lopez, Aaron Gordon, Goran Dragic, Harrison Barnes, Brandon Ingram, Marquese Chriss and Wille Cauley-Stein.
NBA 2K17 gamers who successfully collected all of the Season Elite players will be granted a big reward. The said reward is a Diamond Anthony Davis card, which is considered as the best card in the set with his overall rating sitting at 98 being the highest among the other cards.
Apparently, collecting these Season Elite players is not an easy job, as it requires tons of luck in opening the bundles. These packs can be earned in-game or purchasing via real world money. Meanwhile, the NBA 2K community is not too pleased with the current state of the game. Some of them are voicing out their concerns on social media regarding the latest additions to the game.
Based on the report, players appreciates an addition of a new mode and other features rather than these new set of cards to collect for this income-generating mode in NBA 2K17. Many are hoping that 2K would be more considerate with its future additions in the game.
