The NBA Playoffs has officially started a couple of days ago. As a result, 2K releases a brand new patch for NBA 2K17 that features massive changes on the attributes and stats to all players in the game. Aside from the stats changes, a ranking of the top players of each position has been provided based on their updated overall rating.
Last week, 2K revealed the Season Elite Player Cards for NBA 2K17's MyTeam mode, which features the best players in the league that was unable to reach the post-season. Furthermore, 2K also revealed a free locker code for 75,000 VC and 1 MyTeam Pack dedicated to Twitch Prime members.
With the NBA teams currently heating up with the first round of the 2017 NBA playoffs, NBA 2K17 is expected to have a bump in its popularity. Furthermore, the massive roster update will keep things accurate to what is happening in the real-world, as Attack of the Fanboy reported.
Meanwhile, here is the top 10 NBA 2K17 players after the update. Cleveland Cavaliers superstar forward LeBron James leads the list with 97 overall rating. Followed by James Harden, Kawhi Leonard and Russell Westbrook with 96 overall. Golden State Warriors superstar guard Stephen Curry along with his superstar teammate Kevin Durant were tied up at 95 overall. Anthony Davis cracks the list with 94 overall. Chris Paul, Paul George and DeMarcus Cousins both got 91 overall.
On the other hand, Russell Westbrook leads among all point guards. Followed by Stephen Curry, Chris Paul, John Wall, Kyrie Irving, Isiah Thomas, Damian Lillard, Kyle Lowry, Mike Conley and Kemba Walker. On the shooting guard department, James Harden secures the top spot. Followed by Jimmy Butler, DeMar DeRozan, Klay Thompson, Bradley Beal, C.J. McCollum, Devin Booker, Dwyane Wade, Avery Bradley and Khris Middleton.
The big guys won't be left out of the picture as the ranking of NBA 2K17 centers has also been revealed. Here, DeMarcus Cousins takes the first spot, followed by Marc Gasol, Kart-Anthony Towns, Rudy Gobert, Nikola Jokic, Hassan Whiteside, DeAndre Jordan, Joel Embiid, Andre Drummond, Al Horford, and Brook Lopez.
