Tekken 7 Might Include This NieR Automata Character As A Guest Fighter

NieR Automata and Tekken 7 fans rejoice as the fighting game might get a guest character from the action role-playing game. However, fans will have to prove that they want the character in the game through a poll.

NieR Automata Meets Tekken 7

As reported, android 2B might be making her way to her very first fighting game soon. Japanese game producer and director Katsuhiro Harada recently sent a tweet asking fans about which guest character they would like to see in the upcoming Tekken installment. Since then, NieR fans have been trying to get the android to star as a guest character.

It is also worth noting that there will be more than one guest character as the first one will arrive in Winter 2017 while the second will come in during Spring of 2018. Currently, Yakuza character Kazuma Kiryu has some solid votes and is currently in the lead, hinting that there is a good chance that fans will see him by the end of the year.

2B, on the other hand, is also quite solid in terms of votes but it seems like fans will have to continue supporting her if they want to see her in the game. Each character will also come with a special stage and costumes coming from their respective game. All of these items will also be included in the season pass for those who will opt to purchase it.

Other Fighters Join The Fray

In line with this, guest characters are merely there for fun and do not tie in with the main lore of the game, similar to Akuma's appearance. Fans are seemingly making the most out of this statement as some fans are requesting for Ned Flanders from The Simpsons and Kenshiro from First of the North Star, as per Niche Gamer.

Fans can continue to support their favorite character until the poll officially comes to a close. NieR Automata fans should make the most out of this if they want to see 2B in a different game. Tekken 7 will launch on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One on June 2.
