iPhone 6 To Feature A7 ARM Cortex Processor, 2GB Of RAM

Apple's much-awaited iPhone 6 will allegedly feature an upgraded A7 ARM Cortex processor and come with double the RAM of its predecessor, iPhone 5.

According to NVONews "There are more and more rumors about iPhone 6 release date and specs. Analysts are expecting upgrades like A7 ARM Cortex processor, 2GB RAM besides better display."

Currently, the iPhone 5 touts a dual-core A6 processor and analysts are of the opinion that the iPhone 5S and/or iPhone 6 will get a refresh under the hood and would likely feature a quad-core A7 ARM Cortex processor, which Apple is rumored to have in the works.

Rumors hint at a fall release for the iPhone 5S or iPhone 6. The rumor was given credence when Apple's CEO Tim Cook let on that new iDevices would not release before fall.

"I dont want to be more specific, but I'm just saying we've got some really great sutff coming in the fall and across all of 2014," hinted Cook in April.

It is expected that the next iPhone will be the company's flagship phone for 2013 and will pack in an improved processor. The next-gen iPhone is also speculated to sport a bigger screen (4.8-inch Retina display) so that it can take on big screen phones like the Samsung Galaxy S4, Sony Xperia Z and HTC One. Apple is also expected to improve the screen resolution to 1080p.

Reports also suggest that the iPhone 5S/iPhone 6 will feature a power-packed camera (a 13-megapixel primary camera) and even a fingerprint sensor.

Rumor has it that Apple may debut its new iPhone post the WWDC, where Apple will also launch its iOS 7. With Apple looking to up its game with the iPhone 6, iFans will have yet another new smartphone to look forward this holiday season.
