Several game stores will be holding a special distribution for Pokémon Sun And Moon. In line with this, Nintendo is also gearing up to release more mega stones for the game.
Special Distribution In Pokémon Sun And Moon
According to VG247, game stores in the U.S. and U.K. will finally get their hands on a special Pokémon through retailer distribution. Those who live in the area can head over to GAME or GameStop to receive a special Midnight form of Lycanroc. This distribution is in celebration of the Rock-type Alolan monster's addition to the Pokémon Trading Card Game.
The monster evolves from a level 25 Rockruff but the form depends on the time of day and game version the player has. This certain Lycanrock comes with the No Guard ability which means moves like Fire Fang and Stone Edge will not miss. The Pokémon will also come at level 50 with the moves Fire Fang, Sucker Punch, Swords Dance, Stone Edge and is also holding a Life Orb.
The distribution will officially begin on May 5 in Europe and May 15 in the U.S. Similarly, the Pokémon TCG Sun & Moon - Guardians Rising edition will also be available on the said dates.
Earn These Three New Megastones This Month
That aside, WWG shares that the game will be getting new mega stones this month along with another Battle Competition. Those who compete in at least three battles will be rewarded with a Tyranitarite, Abomasite and Manectite. Those who want to register can do so at the Pokémon Global Link site and then compete during the weekend of the event.
Moreover, each competition has its own set of rules to add variety for each month's battles. This month, the Battle Competition will be using the Video Game Championship (VGC) rules wherein players can only use monsters in the Alola Pokedex and are limited to Double Battles.
Pokémon Sun and Moon players should take advantage of the special distribution next month to earn the unique Lycanroc. Similarly, they should also begin registering for the Battle Competition to earn the new set of mega stones.
