Ventimiglia was caught up in an interview during the NBC upfronts party last Sunday. The actor, along with his co-stars Mandy Moore (Rebecca), Sterling K. Brown (Randall), Justin Hartley (Kevin), Chrissy Metz (Kate), Chris Sullivan (Toby) and Susan Kelechi-Watson (Beth), shared some teasers about the second run of the drama.
As demanded by most fans, "This is Us" Season 2 will finally answer the mystery of Jack's death which was also confirmed by Milo Ventimiglia. He said that his character's death would definitely have to go down in the new installment but revealed something more about his role. The actor said that although fans are intrigued on how Jack Pearson died, the viewers will probably more appreciate how he lived his life.
Few more spoilers for "This is Us" Season 2 were already revealed, and fans already know the problems that will storm the marriage of Jack and Rebecca. Randall is also to lose a baby while a wedding might also come to the Pearsons. Ventimiglia has not given a concrete confirmation, but he was seemingly teasing that his character's daughter Kate might be getting married in the new season. The character is also to become a singer.
Meanwhile, a teaser video was released by NBC, but it does not feature any new scenes as the show is reportedly yet to start its production. "This is Us" Season 2 is yet to premiere this Fall, and it will be occupying another time slot on NBC. The network pushed the show from Tuesday to Thursday, and the installment will deliver 18 episodes. Another season has already been greenlit with the same episode count, but the release date for the third installment has not yet been determined.
