It seems Far Cry 5 is just around the corner, as fans continue to receive teasers from Ubisoft. That is right - the studio has once again released another one in hopes to build the hype around the game. And so far, things are really a bit more exciting than ever.
According to Polygon, Far Cry 5 will offer a story that revolves around a militant Christian cult. And this is exactly what the new piece of artwork that the video game company unleashed recently. It portrays a total of seven characters around the table, which reflects that of the famous Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper.
In the artwork, the Christ figure wears a yellow-tinted hunting glasses and sits in front with an open book laid out. There are other five men, all bearded, along with one single woman. Interestingly, below the table are a set of weapons and ammunition, with the American flag flattened on the table.
There is also a man, who is kneeling on the left side of the table. Behind his back is a word "Sinner," which could be carved or simply written on his skin. Express notes that the new teaser definitely provides a cultish vibe, something that the game is set to move forward with. Unfortunately, though, Ubisoft has not really confirmed this story setting nor has it revealed anything about it.
Previously, reports point to Far Cry 5 being set in Montana, United States. However, the video game company just announced that it will be situated in the country (though no specific as to where exactly). So, in a sense, the mystery of the game continues to triumph.
GamesRadar notes that this will be the first time in history that the series will go to America, thanks to Far Cry 5. Ubisoft is believed to reveal more information about the game in the next few months or so. Perhaps from there, fans will get a better understanding of what the title is all about.
