Fans of Injustice 2 have something to be happy about. The latest news indicates that Red Hood is arriving and he will make his presence felt this coming Sunday. It was no less than Ed Boon, NetherRealm Studios' Creative Director, who gave the announcement.
It Will Happen At The Combo Breaker Event
Apparently, the debut of Red Hood in Injustice 2 will happen at the Combo Breaker Event. This fighting tournament is slated on May 28. Boon revealed in his Twitter post that a teaser gameplay trailer featuring Red Hood will be shown during the event.
Boon's twitter post is accompanied by a screenshot of Red Hood lying on his back. He seems to be juggling his opponent in the air using his handguns. This character was previously introduced as one of Injustice 2's downloadable characters. This latest news reveals that he will be the first one to be added, as he is to be followed by the revamped Sub-Zero and Starfire, both from Mortal Kombat X.
Apparently, Red Hood is Joining the Injustice 2 characters by way of the upcoming Fighter Pack 1 where Sub-Zero and Star Fire are also included. Boon's original leak only showed how these three will look like, which was the first glimpse of Red Hood that fans had.
Fans Will Get A Taste Of Red Hood's Gameplay
For sure, fans at the Combo Breaker fighting tournament can expect to get their first taste of Red Hood's gameplay. NetherRealm has not provided any details about the release date of the first DLC pack of characters yet; although, some gamers believe that it will be released this coming summer.
Perhaps the game developer will provide the latest news about this at the Combo Breaker event or maybe later at the E3 2017 in June. What is certain now is that Fighter Pack 1 will be included in the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions of Destiny 2.
