“The Bachelorette” star Rachel Lindsay has taken the spotlight once again after news revealed that she once dated NBA professional player Kevin Durant. She revealed that their relationship was pretty serious back then.
In an exclusive scoop from Us Weekly, an unidentified source reportedly disclosed a juicy past of Rachel Lindsay. The source revealed that the “The Bachelorette” star used to date Kevin Durant, small forward for the Golden State Warriors. According to the insider, Lindsay and Durant dated way back in college.
It was when Lindsay was still attending University of Texas at Austin where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Sports Management. However, the source revealed that there was more to their relationship and it was not anything casual. Their relationship was apparently a serious one but they broke up when Lindsay went to attend Marquette University to pursue a law degree.
Lindsay might have been devastated when she broke up with NBA star Durant but all is well now. The bachelorette has already revealed that she is already engaged with one of her suitors. This information came out prior to the release date of “The Bachelorette” Season 13, which she stars in. Even before that, when she was introduced as the new bachelorette in “Jimmy Kimmel Live”, she revealed that she has not met the man yet that will her heart while filming for the show.
She then pointed out that she already met the winning suitor during the proposal and she does not plan on breaking up things with him. Lindsay was able to make the announcement even before the new season of “The Bachelorette” aired because she was excited about it but she and the show made sure to keep the winning suitor’s identity in the dark. “The Bachelorette" Season 13 premiered on ABC on May 22.
