This Pokemon RPG Has Been Rumored In The Past

Prior to Ishihara's announcement, rumors were going around that a full Pokemon RPG is in the works for the Nintendo Switch. This recent announcement indicated that these rumors are indeed based on facts. However, the Pokemon executive also stated that it will be more than a year before the project is completed.

Ishihara also released a video teaser recently describing the full Pokemon RPG at the end of the clip. The video is actually centered on the Pokken DeLuxe Tournament, the latest update of the game which is also coming to the Nintendo Switch. Here, gamers can enter the tournament using just one Switch but with two joy controllers. It will be released on Sept. 22. The video also featured some of the tournament gameplay. The Rumor Is Turning Out To Be True

Die-hard fans of the game have been aching for a 3D console Pokemon. Their appetites for this type of video game were whetted since the debut of Pokemon Stadium which was released for the Nintendo 64.

The Switch Is The Perfect Platform For This RPG

Gamers think that the Nintendo Switch will be the perfect platform for this upcoming full Pokemon RPG. The Switch offers hybrid functionality which can be enjoyed both indoors and outdoors. Hopefully, Game Freak will be able to pursue the project and complete it in due time. There are rumors saying that Pokemon Stars will be the title of this upcoming RPG.
