'Walking Dead' Season 8 Spoilers: Three Major Characters To Go Missing? All-Out War Hinted In New Teasers

AMC is gearing up the latest season of “The Walking Dead” television series for something big. All new teasers have been released and hint that something eventful is going to happen.

AMC announced and confirmed the renewal of “The Walking Dead” series for another season in October 2016. The eighth season is set to premiere this October along with the show’s 100th episode. “The Walking Dead” Season 7 concluded in April 2017 and the finale left off with the communities officially declaring war against each other. With that given, new set photos have been released.

“The Walking Dead” Season 8 has been confirmed to pick up the story immediately after the recently concluded season. Aside from the all-out war waiting to happen, the cast is more excited about the fact that show will be heading off to the another milestone. Actor Andrew Lincoln revealed that he is more excited about this season than any other installment and he just can’t wait for it to finally air. Lincoln, who portrays the role of Rick, emphasized that the new season will be insane.

In addition to how insane “The Walking Dead” Season 8 will be, there are reports suggesting that three major characters will be having lesser screen time. It has been revealed that actors Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Christian Serratos, and Danai Gurira have not been spotted filming for the new season. Their absence has gotten many to speculate that fans won’t be seeing the characters Negan, Michonne, and Rosita in the new season. However, it has been explained that Rosita has been missing shoots because she is pregnant while the other two actors are busy with their respective movie shoots.

AMC will reportedly finally release the official first trailer for “The Walking Dead” Season 8 on July 21. Meanwhile, the cast and production crew will be attending the upcoming San Diego Comic Con and they will first release the trailer in that event.
