‘The Walking Dead' Season 8 Gets Andrew Lincoln Excited; Spinoff Series 'Fear The Walking Dead' Renewed For Season 4

“The Walking Dead” Season 8 will not be out in months but that does not stop fans from getting excited. Even actor Andrew Lincoln has revealed that he’s psyched for the new season. Meanwhile, “Fear the Walking Dead" has just been renewed for another season.

Andrew Lincoln Excited For 100th Episode

AMC has already revealed “The Walking Dead” Season 8 has been slated to air in October 2017. One thing about the upcoming new season is that the series will finally touch its hundredth episode. Andrew Lincoln, who plays the lead role of Rick Grimes, has shared that he is more excited about the fact that the show’s reached its 100th episode than getting the eighth installment.

“The Walking Dead” Season 7 finale sort of failed to impress fans and viewers alike but Lincoln insists that he can’t wait for the new episode to be revealed. He explained that he is neither making it up nor just acting up for the enthusiasm. He said that he is genuinely excited about it that he also can’t wait to return to the series.

“Fear The Walking Dead” Season 4 In the Works

AMC has just announced that it has finally renewed “Fear the Walking Dead” for a fourth season. However, the new installment will now be spearheaded by Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg, who both worked on the television series, “Once Upon A Time.” The two will replace show runner David Erikson after the latter is done working on “Fear the Walking Dead” Season 3.

AMC programming president Joel Stillerman stated that the network is excited to continue the story of the said “The Walking Dead” spinoff series with two new talented individuals on board. “Fear the Walking Dead” Season 3 has yet to make its premiere on June 4 this year. It will be airing 13 episodes as reported by AMC.
