Nokia has recently launched the Lumia 925 for T-Mobile but has not confirmed a release date. A recent report now suggests that the smartphone will hit the shelves from the third week of July.
The Finnish company unveiled the Lumia 925 and the Lumia 928 within a week of each other, earlier in May this year. Even though Verizon has already started shipping the handset, T-Mobile customers are yet to get their hands on the device.
However, according to latest rumors, the wait for Lumia 925 wouldn't be long. Per a WMPowerUser report, T-Mobile's inventory system indicates that the retail stores will start receiving dummy units of the Lumia 925 from the first week of July onwards.
The WMPowerUser report says, "According to store reps, actual hardware usually follows in a week or two, meaning by the second or 3rd week of July T-Mobile subscribers should be able to pick up the handset."
T-Mobile customers may still find the short delay worth the wait as the Lumia 925 will be the first top-end Windows Phone 8 (WP8) smartphone the carrier will offer.
Till now, all other Nokia Windows Phones have been made of unibody polycarbonate designs; however, the Lumia 925 will be the first Windows Phone device made by the Finnish company to feature an aluminum chassis.
Nokia Lumia handsets are available in a wide range of colors, but the Lumia 925 is available in only 3 colors - black, white and gray.
The Nokia Lumia 925 is already available in China, UK and some other European markets. T-Mobile has not confirmed an exact release date for the handset but if you want to be updated with latest pre-order, availability and more information, then you also register your interest with T-Mobile here.
