Various images of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 3 have emerged online and this time the leaked images are coming directly from the company's testing center.
Samsung released the Galaxy Note 2 in Sept. 2012 and since then the phablet has received a lot of attention within the smartphone community. The high popularity of the handset has also left smartphone enthusiasts waiting for the next-generation Galaxy Note 2.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 2 at the IFA Berlin event in 2012 and Samsung's CEO J.K Shin has already confirmed the company's plan to launch the next-generation Galaxy Note 3 at the IFA Berlin event scheduled for the beginning of Sept. this year. However, reports also suggest that the Galaxy Note 3 may arrive by the end of July or beginning of August this year.
"A new report suggests that Samsung may be interested in launching the Galaxy Note 3 earlier than initially planned, in order to compensate for poorer than expected Galaxy S4 sales," reported Android Authority.
This is not the first time that images of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 have leaked online, but interestingly, the rather blurry leaked images of the upcoming handset have apparently come directly from the Samsung Testing center. It seems from one of the leaked pictures that the handset is in a production line with workers assembling the handset.
If the handset is already in production then there may be good chances that the handset will reach the shelves sooner than expected.
The previous iteration of the phablet, the Galaxy Note 2, appeared only in one model; however, rumors suggest that the Galaxy Note 3 will be available in four different models just like the Samsung Galaxy S4.
The Galaxy Note 2 still remains one of the most-powerful smartphones around and rumors suggest that the Galaxy Note 3 will be even more powerful than its predecessor. The handset is expected to have the fastest Snadragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3GHz and sport a 5.7-inch or 5.99-inch display. Samsung is also expected to bump up other hardware specifications of the Galaxy Note 3 to entice more customers.
Phablet customers will be happy to lay their hands as soon as possible on the Galaxy Note 3, but we will have to wait until Samsung officially launches the handset.
