Sony just unveiled a new flagship phone that content creators would love, but it comes with a hefty price tag.
With three 12MP cameras that can catch stunning visuals, the new Sony Xperia 1 IV is a dream phone for content creators and social media influencers alike.
There's just one catch for potentially one of the best Android phones. It comes at a hefty price of $1599.
New Sony Xperia 1 IV Targets Content Creators
Sony just introduced the new Sony Xperia 1 IV. It was announced this week with impressive specs, but it won't be available for several months, according to Android Central.
Packed with unique photography and videography features, it's not hard to guess that like the Xperia phones before it, the Xperia 1 IV is targeting content creators.
The device has a triple camera setup consisting of three 12MP cameras. Sony even levelled things up by allowing all three cameras to shoot video at 120fps 4K HDR. This simply translates to the fact that you'll be able to get smooth zoom from the ultrawide, wide, and telephoto cameras.
According to Android Central, Sony's new periscope telephoto lens physically moves to offer "true optical zoom" between 85mm and 125mm equivalent (3.5x to 5.2x). This results in smoother zoom and better image capture before digital cropping comes into play.
To all the users' delight, the company has finally improved the front-facing camera, which now sports a 12MP resolution, resulting to crisper selfies. It also allows the camera to shoot video at 4K HDR.
Xperia 1 IV's rear cameras are packed full of modes and other upgrades too, such as the 4K 120fps slow-mo recording, wider dynamic range when shooting a video, a Videography Pro mode for live streaming, and more.
As for the battery, the phone has 5,000mAh. Another remarkable fact is it can charge to 50% in just 30 minutes.
