Rockstar Games Only Confirms Development

Previously, Rockstar Games has already confirmed that the company is currently working on the GTA 6. However, the game developer remained mum on any other details. The game still seems far for now as no teaser or trailer has been dropped yet.

Rockstar insider Tez2 predicts that the announcement will be done during Rockstar's anniversary somewhere between late November and early December. If this fails, he also noted that it could be a February announcement. Back in the day, many fans also predicted that GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption would be released in spring, however, both were pushed back.

If the 2025 prediction is true, this means that fans will not wait that much longer for a GTA 6 reveal. Rockstar is known for providing trailers in advance of the release dates, so fans can still see a faint hope of repeating the history. While there is a possibility of introducing the much-awaited installment at The Game Awards, it is more likely that Rockstar will host an independent event for GTA 6.

GTA V is Already a Decade-Old Game

Last September, GTA V celebrated its 10th anniversary with Rockstar giving away new weapons, extra modes, a stock car, collectibles, and other bonuses. The game also honored a new milestone as it currently sold 185 million copies and has generated $8 billion in revenue.

Since the game is already ten years old, fans are growing impatient with the slow release of GTA 6. Do note that games really take a lot of time to develop, especially as big as the GTA franchise. However, there were also reports that Rockstar's production was greatly affected by the pandemic. Moreover, the GTA 6 will require longer working hours to complete the game.
