HBO confirmed that hit series "The White Lotus" has officially started filming its third season, after the show shared a peak at the resort in Thailand.
In addition, the series also introduced Blackpink's Lisa as part of the A-list cast members for the upcoming season.
'The White Lotus' Gears up for Third Season
The production account of HBO's official streaming service, Max, hinted the comeback after posting a picture of the season three clapperboard on Instagram.
"Unforgettable experiences are in the making at #TheWhiteLotus," the Instagram post read. The account also welcomed the cast to the new resort in Thailand. Previously, the series featured locations in Hawaii for season one and Italian island of Sicily for season two.
"The White Lotus" is known for following the lives of the vacationers in the White Lotus resort hotel. Both seasons have their fair shares of deaths like Murray Bartlett's Armon in season one and Jennifer Collidge's Tanya in season two.
'The White Lotus' Season 3 Update
Although the plot is still under the wraps, the first two seasons of "The White Lotus" gave the viewers a hint on how the show will be for its third installment. However, it would be different this time with new ensemble.
According to the report, Natasha Rothwell will be reprising her spa manager role as Belinda from season one. Meanwhile, popular celebrities such as Blackpink's Lisa, Aimee Lou Wood, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and more will be joining the cast.
Previously, Jason Isaac revealed that he will joining "The White Lotus" cast but remained very secretive about the show's plot. "I am in it. If I say anything else, they take my kidney out through my ears. Very painful! So thanks!" he confirmed.
The third season of "The White Lotus" is expected to be released on Max in 2025 and will still be directed by Mike White.
